I can’t say enough wonderful things about Tucson Tonks. From their thorough vetting of potential homes to the loving care each individual kitten receives. This breeder breeds for personality and temperament and then raises the kittens until they are at least three months old. I have had many kittens over the years and these two littermates are the first I have had that sleep through the night right away and do not claw furniture. They have been gently raised and are not afraid of loud or foreign noises. Tucson Tonks will remain a part of our lives, as I know their deep caring for these kittens will last their entire lives.

Jacki is wonderful! I cannot say enough about how amazing our two babies are that we got from her. They are so sweet and loving. Roll over for belly rubs all the time! They follow me around the house and love to snuggle. They are hilarious when they play. They used the litter robot from day 1!! They are very, very well socialized. They sleep through the night and use the scratching post!

Jacki was so thorough in making sure we knew what we were getting into with Tonks as they are mischievous and super smart! She gave us lots of instructions and I still call/text her with questions all the time.

I highly recommend getting two tonks from Jacki. You can trust her judgement completely! She will let you know if you would be good Tonk parents and she will match you with the perfect kitten/s for you!

We had recently lost our beloved Tonk, and I’d been let down by a breeder. Emotionally I was not in a good place. Scrolling through the Tonk FB posts, I saw a post by Jacki from TucsonTonks. Right then and there I called her. She spent a very long time on the phone with me, understanding my fragile emotional state. When I asked about kittens she said she had a litter due in 2 weeks time but could not be sure there would be a kitten suited to our family. We were looking for a little girl who would RV travel with us. Once the kittens were born, Jacki updated me daily with photos and videos, and we watched them develop into beautiful, playful babies. Jacki treats all her kittens like babies, lovingly interacting with them for hours every day. She is a totally ethical and caring breeder, who does everything she can to ensure a happy match with a home for her kittens. She devotes her days to her babies and she is always willing to share her considerable experience and knowledge and will also give advice to anyone asking. She is the only breeder I know of who will willingly give her time to help someone having a problem with a kitten not adopted from her. It takes a very big heart and a whole lot of love to do that! Cara was matched with our family as an outgoing and very loving kitten. Jacki welcomed us into her home, and allowed us time to bond with Cara before starting out on the long journey back to the Seattle area. We received an amazing adoption package with gifts, toys and food samples for the road. The transition was a dream come true for us. Within 10 minutes of leaving Jacki’s house, Cara (now Saffy) settled on my lap and for 7 days driving back home she was a total angel! Jacki works so hard on teaching her kittens manners and socializing them, all the while letting their personalities develop and shine. She reassures them when they get startled, which results in confident, outgoing kittens! Saffy took the whole 7 day journey in her stride, never once acting afraid, even though she was exposed to new sounds and experiences every day! I would highly recommend Jacki to absolutely anyone looking for a well socialized, loving, and beautiful kitten. She will make absolutely sure that the kitten you adopt is a perfect match with your family and situation, and will remain committed to helping and advising you in as long as you need it. She also loves getting updates from adoptive parents on how her babies are doing, so if you’re looking for a new Tonk baby, give Jacki a call! It will be the best decision you have made in a long time!

Tucson Tonks is a very ethical breeder, her cats are healthy and very well socialized. She will not give away a kitten unless they are healthy, ready and the new parents have been thoroughly vetted. She does SO much for these cats, they are a very happy family! not only that, she took the time to get to know me and my family and she helped me select the right kitten for me, based on temperament, and he's been a perfect fit for our little group. I couldn't ask for a better kitten, he's going to be a wonderful cat!

Jacki has created a place where little angels are born. We lost our 18 year old Tonk and found Tucson Tonks on Facebook...what an absolute blessing. Jacki is loving, extremely wise about cat care, and has a heart of gold. She treats these cats as if they're her own children, and we did the same as we welcomed a little Tonk into our home last week. Maeve could not be a more perfect cat. Healthy, happy, and perfectly trained. Tucson Tonks is absolutely wonderful. Thank you to Jacki and Tucson Tonks for helping us grow our family.

I want to share my experience with Tucson Tonks, specifically Jacki the owner. She really is a quality breeder. She cares for her cats and kittens like they were her own children. She takes the time to interview everyone, checks out the environment that the kittens are going to, and is very good at communicating with you. You can truly tell her heart is with her cats and kittens. She places a family member, not just a pet. She ensures that they are all well socialized and evaluates each kitten’s personality to ensure they are good fit to their new homes. I would recommend her and her kittens to anyone, and I would definitely buy from her again. My kitten adjusted quickly and has become the love of our family.

After getting our 2 babies from Tucson Tonks, I can't imagine getting kittens anywhere else. My experience working with Jacki was a night and day difference compared to working with the "backyard breeder" we got our puppy from (I didn't know better at the time). Anyone can put 2 same-breed animals together and let them make babies, and there are plenty of breeders out there willing to just pump out baby animals and sell them to paying customers. Jacki LOVES her babies, and the Tonkinese breed. She knows what she's doing, is committed to the preservation/improvement of the breed, and is super picky about who her babies go to.

Throughout the interview process, it was clear that Jacki was thoughtful in her recommendations on which kittens would do well together, and which single or pair would do well in our very active, kid-filled household. And she couldn't have done better! I am amazed almost daily at how well our kittens fit with our family. When you would expect most cats to be hiding under furniture to get away from yet another pair of grasping hands, our babies just purr and snuggle up to whomever will hold them.

Jacki is also considerate of the major transition her kittens go through when moving to their new homes, and takes measures to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible. We followed all of her recommendations, and our kittens made a seamless transition from kitten room to rambunctious family life. I realize not all kittens are suited for a busy household, and maybe yours is a quiet household. Jacki will make sure the kitten that goes to your home is as suited to your lifestyle as our kittens are to ours.

We've had our babies for 2 months now, and I still keep in contact with Jacki at least weekly. There is no pressure on her end to do so, but I know she loves seeing their antics as much as I love sharing them, and it's fun to share that love of these Tonkinese cats. I know most people look for a breeder near where they live. I did as well, but lucky for me, there weren't any nearby! My little kids and I drove 8 hours each way to pick up these babies, and it was worth every minute. I'm so glad we found Jacki. The love she pours into her breeding is evident in the whole adoption experience as well as the end product, and these additions to our family are worth every minute and every dollar we spent getting them here.

Jacki does such a great job socializing her kittens. My pair, Donny (aka Amos) and Daisy are such friendly kits. They made a smooth transition to my home thanks to Jacki collecting a familiar item from me a month ahead of my pick up date. They are not afraid of strangers but instead welcome them into our home. They are mild mannered and let you look in their moths, cut their nails and rub their bellies with no fuss. They are wonderful sleeping buddies at night and greet me at the door when I return home. These kittens make fantastic pets and I would highly recommend buying your next fur baby from Tucson Tonks!

We absolutely love our little Tonk Cooper. He is just the best kitten. Their personalities are like no other cat that you have had before. Cooper knows how to fetch, sit, lay and he loves watching my daughter eat her food.

We also would definitely recommend TucsonTonks for a kitten. She is very informative, amazing price, and makes sure they go to amazing homes. Thank you for trusting us with one of your kittens. We will definitely be buying again.

We got our little Ruby about a month ago and she is the sweetest, most loving kitten ever. She loves people and other kitties, and always wants to be in my lap. The transition to our house went super smoothly, and Ruby had no problems fitting in with our other cats. I would highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a smart, loving, healthy kitten!
